Deacon Board Ministry
Deacon Board
At Straightway MBC of Mojave, CA the purpose of the Deacon Board, as with all ministries in the church, is to foster fellowship, harmony, and cooperation within the church by demonstrating love through prayers, blessings, spiritual, and financial support.
The Deacons Ministry is rooted in Acts 6, where the necessity arose to serve the needy in the early Jerusalem church. While this ministry was critically important, the Apostles determined their primary focus should remain on prayer and teaching, delegating these duties to other qualified individuals.
