Mother's Board Ministry

At Straightway MBC of Mojave, the Mother’s Board plays a vital role in fostering fellowship, harmony, and cooperation among the members of the church. Their commitment is demonstrated through actions of love, prayer, blessings, and both spiritual and financial support.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to remain steadfastly committed to God and the leadership of Straightway MBC. We are guided by the truth of Scripture and lead by example as wise mothers, unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as emphasized in 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13:
"Now may our God and Father Himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you, and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you, so that He may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints."

Responsibilities of the Mother’s Board

1. Mentorship and Role Modeling:
   • Serve as Christian mentors and role models for younger members and the broader community.
2. Outreach and Care:
   • Seek opportunities to support the sick and shut-in through telephone calls, written correspondence, or other means.
3. Spiritual Growth and Fellowship:
   • Participate in prayer meetings, Bible study, and regular worship services.
4. Support for Church Ministries:
   • Collaborate with and support other auxiliaries as needed.

Promoting Unity and Growth

The Mother’s Board holds regular meetings to strengthen unity and encourage spiritual growth while magnifying God’s kingdom and edifying Jesus Christ and His church.
